Cynthia B. Sinha, PhD is a sociologist with a focus on families, culture, race-ethnicity, and more recently, medical sociology. Areas of interest for Sickle Cell Disease include the experience of living with SCD across the life course, parenting a child with SCD, medical decision-making for SCD modifying therapies, and the patient perspective on bone marrow transplantation and gene therapy for SCD.
